Revision Policy

This policy explains how revisions work at SophiaEssays. Revisions mainly apply to Touchstone assignments. While it is uncommon for the Touchstones we deliver to be returned, it does happen from time to time. When it does, we provide free revisions to help get the work accepted.

2. Scope of Revisions

Our revision support is limited to courses that include Touchstones. This includes written assignments such as those in English Composition, Critical Thinking, and lab report Touchstones. Milestones and other automatically graded work are not covered under this policy.

3. Our Approach to Revisions

We understand that Sophia graders can sometimes be strict or interpret the rubric differently. If a Touchstone is returned with feedback, you can send it to us and we will revise it at no extra cost. Our goal is to address the specific points raised by the grader so the work has a better chance of being accepted on resubmission. Most of the work we deliver does not require any revision, but when it does, we stay with it until the issues are resolved.

4. How Sophia Handles Resubmissions

Sophia generally allows students one official opportunity to resubmit a Touchstone after it has been returned. In some situations, a Learning Coach may approve an additional attempt. Because Sophia already limits how many times a Touchstone can be resubmitted, we do not place our own numerical limit on revisions. We will continue working with you on the feedback as long as Sophia still allows resubmission.

5. Requesting a Revision

There is no time window for requesting a revision. You can contact us whenever a Touchstone is returned, even if some time has passed since the original delivery. To start the process, send us the returned paper along with the grader’s comments and the original instructions or rubric. The clearer the feedback you share, the faster we can make the necessary changes.

6. What We Need From You

When requesting a revision, please include the version of the Touchstone that was submitted, the full feedback or comments from the grader, and any notes about particular sections that need attention. This helps us focus on the exact issues that caused the return.

7. Important Notes

Revisions are based on the original instructions you provided and the feedback given by the Sophia grader. If you ask for significant changes that go beyond the original scope of the order, we may need to treat it as a new request. Our focus remains on helping the Touchstone meet the rubric requirements so it can be accepted.

8. Contact for Revision Requests

To request a revision, reach out to us through the contact form on our website or by emailing the address listed on the Contact page. Please include your order details and the grader feedback so we can assist you as quickly as possible.
